Neuroscience ICU Nurse Practitioner Opportunities

Prisma Health in Columbia, South Carolina has opportunities available for Nurse Practitioners to join their Neuro critical care team.   

• Level I Emergency Trauma Center 
• Comprehensive Stroke Center
• 16 bed dedicated Neuroscience ICU
• APP led unit providing complete management of the critically ill patient. Perform consultations on neurosurgical and stroke patients.
• Collaboration between neurology and neurosurgery
• Consistent availability of neurointensivists and other supportive services including anesthesia and vascular access
• Procedure opportunities including arterial lines, central lines, lumbar punctures, and intubations.
• Attend weekly grand rounds, M&Ms, neuro vascular and neuro radiology meetings with CME
• Opportunity to teach and mentor neurology residents rotating through unit.
• Collaborate with Magnet designated nursing staff who are stroke trained and NIHSS certified.
• Excellent Leadership and Support team
